Scott Environmental Group Ltd. Inc. in compliance with the Operations Division of the Ontario Ministry of Labour has compiled and implemented a confined space entry program for use during various industrial operations. This program includes operational definitions, legislation, and precautionary procedures, which are designed to minimize the many risks associated with entry into confined space.
We utilize positive and negative pressure air systems, ambient air blowers, cascade air systems, personal monitors, fall arrest equipment, all of which are covered in our Personal Protective Equipment Program. Although this program is part of our confined space entry program, it also is applicable to projects that involve height (R.R.O., Reg 631/94), hazardous gases (C.E.C. 1996), flammable substances (N.F.P.A., 1983), and other workplace safety guidelines. All technical data, documentation procedures and equipment specifications are in full compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) (R.R.O. Reg. 851/1990) and are in full effect during all confined space entries. |
